Hudson is an extremely loving, ball-obsessed dog! He is a mutt, believed to be a Border-Collie Labrador Retriever mix. But he is certain to be 100% dog! His parents adopted him through a wonderful organization, Labs 4 Rescue. He made the long trip from Louisiana to New York City and was welcomed with open arms and hearts into his new family. Needless to say, it was love at first sight!

Hudson loves anything having to do with playing fetch. Balls, frisbees, sticks, you name it, he’ll fetch it! Though when given the choice, a ball always triumphs. His agility and speed amaze anyone who watches him play. When he leaps to catch a frisbee hanging in the air, his body in motion looks like a flailing fish out of water. So of course it makes perfect sense that he is an avid swimmer. Although he is timid of the ocean, he falls in love with any lake, creek, pond, and swimming pool he comes across.

In addition to his playful side, Hudson is very loving. He is relentless in smothering each of his family members faces with endless kisses. Hudson is an amazingly patient, affectionate and tolerant puppy brother to his little sister, Kaya. He loves to play tug with her and eat her table scraps! Hudson is truly adored by his parents and they consider him to be their first child.

Hudson was only a New York City dog for two months where he conquered the concrete jungle before moving with his family to rural Ithaca, New York. For two years in Ithaca, he went on multiple daily long walks in the woods and swam in the creek whenever weather would permit. Perhaps the biggest perk of his life in Ithaca was having his two best puppy-friends for neighbors, Trooper and Bella. After two years in Ithaca, Hudson ventured on a cross-country drive with his family to relocate to Seattle. As a Seattleite with an insatiable appetite for the outdoors, he constantly takes advantage of the year-round temperate climate.

Stay tuned as the story of Hudson, and Hudson’s Tales, continually develops…
